Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zorion Baca made the kick off which started today's match. 12 minutes into the game, Frantxizko Portilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuerza Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salitre the free kick. 12 minutes into the game, one of Fuerza Verde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Fuerza Verde booed when Salitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Piquero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salitre's Niolaao Torrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zorion Baca in the 20th minute of play. When Zorion Baca came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fuerza Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zorion Baca couldn't finish the play. Leonel Peon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Petrigai Encinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Peon in the 26th minute of play forced Fuerza Verde's goalkeeper Petrigai Encinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fuerza Verde's Petrigai Encinas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Peon in the 28th minute of play. Petrigai Encinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Peon in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Zorion Baca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerza Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zorion Baca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Suesa in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petrigai Encinas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xavon Cañas might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niolaao Torrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavon Cañas ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
With a little luck, Salitre's Niolaao Torrea got control of the ball when Zorion Baca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Salitre booed when Fuerza Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes Salitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xavon Cañas who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Ispuzua in the 71st minute of play forced Fuerza Verde's goalkeeper Petrigai Encinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorion Baca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Niolaao Torrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Miguel Garmendia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Niolaao Torrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zorion Baca might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niolaao Torrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zorion Baca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88thth minute of the game Zorion Baca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salitre's Niolaao Torrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reyes Salantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niolaao Torrea having to interfere. If Zorion Baca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niolaao Torrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blasi Periceira in the 97th minute of the match. When Zorion Baca came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Fuerza Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zorion Baca couldn't finish the play. The Salitre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fuerza Verde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
