In the 8th minute, Galeno Vadillos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonaire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Florentino Figueruel took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Celada. Leandro Celada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Prospero Calderon was a little too slow when Tavio Bacardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-2. Leandro Celada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Figueruel in the 30th minute of play. Cocarito FC's Leandro Celada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Figueruel in the 34th minute of play. Tavio Bacardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Prospero Calderon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bonaire's zone, Tavio Bacardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Calderon came out of the goal and Tavio Bacardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovando Mendia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cocarito FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Astor Alaña was slow to take the kick. During this time Bonaire's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tavio Bacardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bonaire defense, Tavio Bacardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Calderon. The Bonaire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Calderon should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Ximenez Guardamino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galeno Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Leandro Celada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xarles Mariño, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Xarles Mariño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florentino Figueruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Celada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xarles Mariño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenez Guardamino in the 92nd minute of play forced Bonaire's goalkeeper Prospero Calderon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Calderon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Bacardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Ximenez Guardamino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cocarito FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
