Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, CA Santaguardia's goalkeeper Fabio Caubilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gitano Gaceo. Darien Valea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fabio Caubilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Minachal FC's Darien Valea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gervasio Santotis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cutberto Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Bipiana in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, CA Santaguardia's Valentin Bipiana made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cutberto Iribarren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darien Valea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fabio Caubilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, CA Santaguardia's goalkeeper Fabio Caubilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gitano Gaceo. Transito Alastuey hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Minachal FC booed when CA Santaguardia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzavion Xavalera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gitano Gaceo had several of the CA Santaguardia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Fabio Caubilla as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of CA Santaguardia booed when Minachal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Usarralde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gitano Gaceo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fabio Caubilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minachal FC. Fabio Caubilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Naldo Usarralde. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Santotis was the one to do the kick off. If Darien Valea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes CA Santaguardia got a freekick which was hit by Transito Alastuey. Tab Erruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Caubilla. CA Santaguardia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 60 minutes, Transito Alastuey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Santaguardia and the Minachal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Naldo Usarralde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Santaguardia's Fabio Caubilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gitano Gaceo in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play CA Santaguardia's Transito Alastuey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th match minute, CA Santaguardia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Transito Alastuey to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Tab Erruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Caubilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darien Valea in the 73rd minute of play forced CA Santaguardia's goalkeeper Fabio Caubilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gitano Gaceo's late challenge caught a CA Santaguardia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gitano Gaceo helped the player get up and apologised. Valentin Bipiana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cutberto Iribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Santaguardia's Fabio Caubilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gitano Gaceo in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the CA Santaguardia defense, Gitano Gaceo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Caubilla. The CA Santaguardia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Caubilla should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Minachal FC had played much better football throughout.
