Minachal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darien Valea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juanito Vizcarreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darien Valea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gitano Gaceo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juanito Vizcarreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godofredo Aldaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Ollacuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cutberto Iribarren having to interfere. Vladimiro Ollacuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cutberto Iribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Godofredo Aldaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cutberto Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, THE MASK's Godofredo Aldaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cutberto Iribarren. Cutberto Iribarren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Darien Valea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of THE MASK's Juanito Vizcarreto. Juanito Vizcarreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 minutes, Naldo Usarralde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minachal FC and the THE MASK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Minachal FC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Usarralde. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darien Valea was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Darien Valea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE MASK's Juanito Vizcarreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juanito Vizcarreto stood somewhat misplaced when Darien Valea came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Gitano Gaceo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Gitano Gaceo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minachal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gitano Gaceo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. THE MASK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Darien Valea scored to the left of an out of position Juanito Vizcarreto, making the score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berasko Soria in the 84th minute of play forced Minachal FC's goalkeeper Cutberto Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gitano Gaceo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88thth minute of the game Darien Valea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE MASK's Juanito Vizcarreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Minachal FC's Darien Valea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juanito Vizcarreto. Juanito Vizcarreto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. 94 minutes into the match, Minachal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Ollacuria came free, but Cutberto Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Darien Valea came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Minachal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darien Valea couldn't finish the play. Minachal FC played a much better game than THE MASK and deserved their victory. The THE MASK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
