Eskuin Agüera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lopes Garro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, POYMAS⚽'s Cesareo Merlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Lino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Armando Lino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesareo Merlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Victor Cancela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macuira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Cancela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eskuin Agüera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Teodosio Vallines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cesareo Merlo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the POYMAS⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesareo Merlo couldn't finish the play. Eskuin Agüera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
In the 54th minute Macuira were awarded a corner. Brion Moyeda went to the cornerflag to take it. Brion Moyeda made a great header on Macuira's corner, it was just that POYMAS⚽'s Teodosio Vallines managed to reach the ball for a save. If Eskuin Agüera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Lino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mincho Abendaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesareo Merlo got free with Armando Lino in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Vallines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskuin Agüera in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Jakue Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mincho Abendaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to POYMAS⚽ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cesareo Merlo hit a great ball. Cesareo Merlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Mincho Abendaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Macuira's zone, Cesareo Merlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Lino came out of the goal and Cesareo Merlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesareo Merlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Armando Lino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Lino came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by POYMAS⚽'s Mincho Abendaño. But to his dismay, Mincho Abendaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskuin Agüera in the 97th minute of play forced POYMAS⚽'s goalkeeper Teodosio Vallines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. POYMAS⚽ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
