Castel Confercin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Letatu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 59th minute, Modesto Liebana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Seme Herreras, passed just outside the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bolonga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cuevas FC's Seme Herreras. Seme Herreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Castel Confercin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Claudio Letatu came out of the goal and Castel Confercin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Ubelteso Loranca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuevas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubelteso Loranca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cardenales's zone, Ubelteso Loranca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Letatu came out of the goal and Ubelteso Loranca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Cuevas FC were the better team. Cuevas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
