An unexpectedly hard shot by Beturian Villandiego in the 9th minute of play forced Pijaos FC's goalkeeper Xian Estades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Txindoki Irazabal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Segovia. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Txindoki Irazabal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Simon Segovia to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the game, Reynardo Larrimbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pijaos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmabrava FC the free kick. Reynardo Larrimbe hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Bieito Paya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Simon Segovia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txindoki Irazabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Segovia having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Ysidro Respaldiza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmabrava FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pijaos FC the free kick. In the 29th minute, one of Palmabrava FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmabrava FC. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Pijaos FC's Llanos Villaraud got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Simon Segovia. Palmabrava FC's Savion Porres got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Segovia made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bieito Paya sent off a good shot on target. Txindoki Irazabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Txindoki Irazabal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Segovia came out and tried to block the shot, but Txindoki Irazabal slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savion Porres to make the kick off. Sasoin Trilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Segovia having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Pijaos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Savion Porres came free, but Xian Estades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Txindoki Irazabal came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pijaos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txindoki Irazabal couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Roderigo Vinegra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Pijaos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasoin Trilla to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmabrava FC's goalkeeper Simon Segovia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Palmabrava FC defense, Sasoin Trilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Segovia. The Palmabrava FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Segovia should have stopped the shot. Pijaos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
