But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xacobo Covillas couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, LATINOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabel Briz came free, but Rosendo Altares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Bartolomei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semeno Prior in the 16th minute. Bernabel Briz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Altares. Rosendo Altares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Semeno Prior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, LATINOS FC's Xacobo Covillas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Bartolomei. Celso Bartolomei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Mitxel Fragua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Celso Bartolomei made a huge save. Semeno Prior's late challenge caught a Guepsa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semeno Prior helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, LATINOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semeno Prior to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nataniel Lucena made the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Altares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nataniel Lucena in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Guepsa FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fernandez Justo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LATINOS FC's zone, Bernabel Briz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Altares came out of the goal and Bernabel Briz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ranolfo Laures's late challenge caught a LATINOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ranolfo Laures helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Guepsa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LATINOS FC:s goal. 68 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Magadan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Bartolomei. Guepsa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Magadan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Nataniel Lucena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Altares was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Bernabel Briz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Altares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabel Briz in the 76th minute. LATINOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Bernabel Briz scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Altares, making the score, 2-3. The supporters of Guepsa FC booed when LATINOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitxel Fragua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nataniel Lucena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Bernabel Briz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Guepsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Xzavaier Cortez. 96 minutes into the match, LATINOS FC's Edelmiro Magadan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The LATINOS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guepsa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
