The audience thought a goal was coming when Joselito Lesaca got free with Godfredo Hernani in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fliz Sobejano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Nicpro's goal looked a bit too open when Oroitz Barreiros came free, but Tomi Chirghentino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Loi Mayoral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Chirghentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Hernani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joselito Lesaca in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Nicpro's Micael Gobantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Los USTA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Montes Sal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los USTA's zone, Joselito Lesaca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Hernani came out of the goal and Joselito Lesaca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Los USTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabar Salcines to maneuver through the defense. If Joselito Lesaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Oroitz Barreiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los USTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Oroitz Barreiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomi Chirghentino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oroitz Barreiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Micael Gobantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nicpro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micael Gobantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Oroitz Barreiros made the kick off in the second half. Tomi Chirghentino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oroitz Barreiros in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los USTA's goalkeeper Godfredo Hernani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomi Chirghentino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loi Mayoral in the 55th minute. Los USTA's Godfredo Hernani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joselito Lesaca in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Los USTA's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Lesaca came free, but Godfredo Hernani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicpro's Micael Gobantes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Micael Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Joselito Lesaca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Hernani. Los USTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joselito Lesaca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Joselito Lesaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Hernani was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Godfredo Hernani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Lesaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Godfredo Hernani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micael Gobantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Joselito Lesaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los USTA's Godfredo Hernani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Loi Mayoral came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Los USTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loi Mayoral couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nabar Salcines during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Nicpro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
