Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorrin Sevillano made the kick off which started today's match. When Malena's Vedillo Tabares in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samber FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cristos Sendeño hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Katia Lezcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lobo Zaldierna hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Vedillo Tabares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malena's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedillo Tabares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Melgar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Melgar made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Guilabertus Beyzania sent off a good shot on target. After 21 played minutes Malena got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Cavadilla. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samber FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Melgar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Katia Lezcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erramu Mor having to interfere. Cipriano Melgar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedillo Tabares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Samber FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorrin Sevillano to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedillo Tabares was the one to do the kick off. Cristos Sendeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Melgar having to interfere. Katia Lezcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vedillo Tabares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erramu Mor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josepe Barron in the 66th minute. Vedillo Tabares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Samber FC's zone, Vedillo Tabares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Melgar came out of the goal and Vedillo Tabares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Melgar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedillo Tabares's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Vedillo Tabares came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Malena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedillo Tabares couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Melgar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilabertus Beyzania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Melgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilabertus Beyzania, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Guilabertus Beyzania left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malena fans cheered their team off the field, for while Samber FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
