Red Warriors FC's Zacarias Cueto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Liquiñano in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Laurentzi Ascarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Hipolito Liquiñano made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Cueto. Red Warriors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 40th minute Hipolito Liquiñano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cueto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurentzi Ascarza during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes, Arache's Nicodemo Landeribar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zacarias Cueto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arache reached it. With his leg Estevez Langayo managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Red Warriors FC's Eguerdi Astera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Red Warriors FC's Estefan Errasti got a free kick in the 45th minute. Eguerdi Astera struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Estevez Langayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Warriors FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eguerdi Astera to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Arache booed when Red Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bibiano Rutges didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bibiano Rutges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bibiano Rutges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estevez Langayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eguerdi Astera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estevez Langayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eguerdi Astera, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Mirande Urdaneta in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Warriors FC's Cordareo Erruz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eguerdi Astera in the 81st minute of play forced Arache's goalkeeper Estevez Langayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Arache getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Silban Verganza hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Red Warriors FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cueto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlandus Rozano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Varioz in the 94th minute of play forced Red Warriors FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cueto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Cueto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Liquiñano in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Cordareo Erruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Warriors FC and the Arache players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Red Warriors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordareo Erruz to maneuver through the defense. Chants of Arache echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Red Warriors FC had held the ball for most of the match.
