Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joaquin Olaiz made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Latin Power's goal looked a bit too open when Ovando Barrenechea came free, but Xever Harroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gesen's goalkeeper Lorenz Gandara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gesen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severiano Barahona was slow to take the kick. During this time Latin Power's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Latin Power's goalkeeper Xever Harroyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliverios Viñe's late challenge caught a Gesen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliverios Viñe helped the player get up and apologised. Ovando Barrenechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xever Harroyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovando Barrenechea in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Olaiz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xever Harroyo saved Latin Power from getting behind. When Ovando Barrenechea came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gesen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovando Barrenechea couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Joaquin Olaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xever Harroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Ovando Barrenechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gesen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diaz Garandia in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenz Gandara saved Gesen from getting behind. Xever Harroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovando Barrenechea in the 58th minute of the match. Latin Power's Xever Harroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Olaiz in the 59th minute of play. Joaquin Olaiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Xever Harroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Latin Power's Xever Harroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Barrenechea in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Ovando Barrenechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gesen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovando Barrenechea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Latin Power's Oliverios Viñe got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Gesen booed when Latin Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarius Sisneros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gesen's Rogerio Coya tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovando Barrenechea in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xever Harroyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Olaiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Cordarius Sisneros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bibiano Muro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Joaquin Olaiz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Latin Power's Xever Harroyo. Xever Harroyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Olaiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovando Barrenechea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xever Harroyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Joaquin Olaiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xever Harroyo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gesen had played much better football throughout.
