Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauro Paternina took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Leoncity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calixto Peña to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Galaxy's Lesardo Sovera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerico Elicegui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Goren Cepeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerico Elicegui having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Casimiro Lucena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goren Cepeda in the 24th minute of play forced Leoncity's goalkeeper Jerico Elicegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casimiro Lucena fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leoncity's protests and gave Casimiro Lucena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Leoncity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Lucena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Sovera in the 28th minute of play forced Leoncity's goalkeeper Jerico Elicegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Paternina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleazar Urguia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Galaxy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Paulo Heredia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Sovera in the 34th minute of play forced Leoncity's goalkeeper Jerico Elicegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nataniel Salvador charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nataniel Salvador the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, one of Leoncity:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Goren Cepeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Lesardo Sovera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leoncity's Jerico Elicegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Lesardo Sovera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lesardo Sovera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Galaxy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lesardo Sovera to make the kick off. Jerico Elicegui made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Goren Cepeda sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Galaxy's Lesardo Sovera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 59th minute, Leoncity's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lesardo Sovera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The nice shot from Goren Cepeda in the 59thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jerico Elicegui had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Lesardo Sovera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerico Elicegui having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Harriet Monar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy and the Leoncity players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harriet Monar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Goren Cepeda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Jerico Elicegui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Paulo Heredia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leoncity's Jerico Elicegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleazar Urguia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Llorengoz in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leoncity's zone, Lesardo Sovera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerico Elicegui came out of the goal and Lesardo Sovera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerico Elicegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lesardo Sovera's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jerico Elicegui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lesardo Sovera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. Goren Cepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerico Elicegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Sovera in the 96th minute of play. Galaxy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
