Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rene Torrens kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Tomas's goalkeeper Panpili Canado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Elorza. After 3 minutes, Piarres Pobes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomas and the ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christiano Elorza charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Elorza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Elorza to maneuver through the defense. Sancho Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panpili Canado having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Tomas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Olavarrieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Rene Torrens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC's Gines Garro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Ysmael Rosich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gines Garro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fonda Moste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sancho Abadia struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Panpili Canado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC. Rene Torrens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gines Garro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Fonda Moste in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Panpili Canado had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC's Gines Garro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysmael Rosich in the 38th minute of play. Gines Garro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Torrens, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bastiaro Valsera during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Pato took the corner. After a good free kick, Azibar Picardo got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sancho Abadia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rene Torrens struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gines Garro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomas. If Piarres Pobes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC's Gines Garro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes, Lia Costales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC and the Tomas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lia Costales hit a great ball. Felipe Pato, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gines Garro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ysmael Rosich in the 72nd minute. Rene Torrens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gines Garro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christiano Elorza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Rene Torrens let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 96th minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. The ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tomas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
