In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lugs FC's goalkeeper Araoz Barbari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jax Bolivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jax Bolivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curasica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jax Bolivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Araoz Barbari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Presebal Zumiel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugs FC's protests and gave Presebal Zumiel a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xamo Zunzunegui in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Araoz Barbari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jax Bolivar struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Araoz Barbari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curasica. Araoz Barbari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamo Zunzunegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Xamo Zunzunegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Araoz Barbari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Curasica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Xicu Cembranos hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Xamo Zunzunegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curasica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xamo Zunzunegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes, Silvio Legaspi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugs FC and the Curasica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lugs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Legaspi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lugs FC booed when Curasica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elizardo Salabaste didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 39 in the game by Frederico Odoardo from a close distance when the talented Cordarell Cotillo managed to make a qualified save. Curasica's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nicolao Morodo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordarell Cotillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jax Bolivar took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Araoz Barbari. Araoz Barbari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lugs FC's Nicolao Morodo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordarell Cotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leheren Portillo in the 56th minute of play. Curasica's Cordarell Cotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Odoardo in the 57th minute of play. When Sansone Horcajo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugs FC's protests and gave Sansone Horcajo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lugs FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sansone Horcajo hit a great ball. Araoz Barbari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamo Zunzunegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Lugs FC's Berdaitz Calera got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 87th minute, Xamo Zunzunegui fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Araoz Barbari, passed just outside the right post. If Frederico Odoardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Odoardo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cordarell Cotillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
