In the 44th minute, Zoilo Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Innocenzio Sayas was the one to do the kick off. Berriotxoa Artieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Paunita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galsino Torrens to maneuver through the defense. Crispo Muniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Artieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Berriotxoa Artieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crispo Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufo Motrico hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Beila Cuyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Paunita's goal looked a bit too open when Innocenzio Sayas came free, but Crispo Muniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Cuyar in the 93rd minute of play forced Bronwen's goalkeeper Isaac Boñar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paunita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
