If Erramun Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venerando Ondategui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioritz Palmero in the 11th minute of play. Ioritz Palmero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venerando Ondategui having to interfere. A collision led to Cubarro getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Laffitte Pellicer hit a great ball. Lehen Fraile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, one of Barboza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Precioso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Teobaldo Chapa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Precioso Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordareo Arenas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercurio Arbulo in the 41st minute of play forced Cubarro's goalkeeper Venerando Ondategui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioritz Palmero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venerando Ondategui having to interfere. Venerando Ondategui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioritz Palmero in the 45th minute of the match. Libertad Sierra kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ioritz Palmero to make the kick off. Erramun Telo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cordareo Arenas having to make a save. Erramun Telo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cordareo Arenas came out and tried to block the shot, but Erramun Telo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Cubarro's Erramun Telo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordareo Arenas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Cubarro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laffitte Pellicer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Barboza booed when Cubarro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Iruegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venerando Ondategui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Adarzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ioritz Palmero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordareo Arenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erramun Telo in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Cubarro booed when Barboza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Ochari didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Precioso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Erramun Telo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Precioso Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cordareo Arenas made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Ioritz Palmero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venerando Ondategui. Cubarro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioritz Palmero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Lehen Fraile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barboza had won after a very even match.
