After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Weather Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 8 played minutes A.C.Milan got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Sarmiento. In the 9th minute, Andy Sarabia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A.C.Milan's Fix Freigido didn't even have to move. The supporters of Itata booed when A.C.Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Erazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fix Freigido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weather Pereira in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.C.Milan defense, Weather Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fix Freigido. The A.C.Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fix Freigido should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Itata's Gilabert Rodil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fix Freigido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Gilabert Rodil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fix Freigido. A.C.Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilabert Rodil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fix Freigido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilabert Rodil, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Itata's Zavior Sanguino got control of the ball when Lekubegi Moscoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vimaro Lamarta in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zavior Sanguino saved Itata from getting behind. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Itata's Weather Pereira fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Itata's Raulo Cevallo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Vimaro Lamarta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zavior Sanguino. The goal made the score 1-2. Vimaro Lamarta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Weather Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Weather Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. Itata's Zavior Sanguino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vimaro Lamarta in the 81st minute of play. Vimaro Lamarta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilabert Rodil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilabert Rodil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fix Freigido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
