The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deportivo Cali booed when Furata Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Llera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Deportivo Cali's Jenaro Soret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
