Salvadore Lerin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Xurxo Tresgallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chayo Pala was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes in the game, Jenaro Soret fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chayo Pala having to interfere. If Honorio Mendigoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Chayo Pala managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Deportivo Cali's Jenaro Soret fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jenaro Soret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Chayo Pala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavian Lusa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xavian Lusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caradaro Trapiella in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Incendio Bolilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zadornin Alzaga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Cali's protests and gave Zadornin Alzaga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KungFu booed when Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zadornin Alzaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primo Perlines kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Deportivo Cali's Oro Marcilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chayo Pala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Cali reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xurxo Tresgallo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jenaro Soret struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Chayo Pala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Cali. Chayo Pala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurxo Tresgallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Xurxo Tresgallo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Deportivo Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurxo Tresgallo couldn't finish the play. Jenaro Soret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chayo Pala having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Jenaro Soret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Cali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 68th match minute, Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Daza to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Xavian Lusa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KungFu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Cali the free kick. Xavian Lusa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Deportivo Cali's Incendio Bolilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavian Lusa in the 92nd minute of play. Jenaro Soret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Cali were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KungFu for a fine match.
