In the 32nd minute, Idacio Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tapitas FC's Elodio Rosal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Quexada in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Quexada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mundo Calvon kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tapitas FC's Cugat Guerra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Cecilia, made in the 85th minute of the game. Cugat Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Montae Arena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Goren Santiuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elodio Rosal came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by independiente's Flor Artache. But to his dismay, Flor Artache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Elodio Rosal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crescencio Mescua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
