The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Olanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Chires FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of baiirito:s goal. The referee gave baiirito a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bautista Manteca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chires FC's Xuban Gonzales. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Ribeira in the 28th minute of play forced baiirito's goalkeeper Haroldo Olanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Pedro Fontanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Olanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velasco Ribeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of baiirito booed when Chires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Albisu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Chires FC's Velasco Ribeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Evaristo Senzano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chires FC's Xuban Gonzales. Xuban Gonzales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half baiirito were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Velasco Ribeira made a kick off. The supporters of baiirito booed when Chires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enaut Bello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Velasco Ribeira came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Chires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velasco Ribeira couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Pedro Fontanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. baiirito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chires FC the free kick. After 63 played minutes baiirito got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fontanes.
