Toli Ovin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Hilario Urquioja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimarronas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Urquioja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Joao Ilardia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cimarronas FC's Toli Ovin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Limpias hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Toli Ovin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTA FE's Quinten Durango. But to his dismay, Quinten Durango quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Hilario Urquioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Urquioja scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritchie Azpiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hilario Urquioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Florencio Alarcon fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cimarronas FC's protests and gave Florencio Alarcon a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cimarronas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Toli Ovin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froylan Zamarro went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Froylan Zamarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SANTA FE booed when Cimarronas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Erus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Quinten Durango made the kick off in the second half. Ritchie Azpiroz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hilario Urquioja sent off a good shot on target. Quinten Durango recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Quinten Durango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTA FE's goalkeeper Ritchie Azpiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ritchie Azpiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Urquioja in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Cimarronas FC booed when SANTA FE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Piedeconcha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
