When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Indar Reguero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raymond Ureta to make any attempt to save it. If Lizardi Docio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Lizardi Docio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sotil Orellana kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Candido Murua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Ureta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indar Reguero in the 37th minute of the match. When Justin Villamarin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored deportivo cali's protests and gave Justin Villamarin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to deportivo cali getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Justin Villamarin hit a great ball. The long shot by Orixe Garcidueñas in the 46th minute really tested Raymond Ureta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The wind increased when Indar Reguero made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Bartoli Cesura came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredo Ozaeta. 1-2. Raymond Ureta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quirce Pedronera's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Alfredo Ozaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lizardi Docio in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of deportivo cali booed when BEMPOSTEÑO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shepherd Vilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lizardi Docio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the deportivo cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lizardi Docio couldn't finish the play. If Candido Murua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BEMPOSTEÑO F.C.'s zone, Bartoli Cesura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Ozaeta came out of the goal and Bartoli Cesura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
