After having played for 13 minutes, Anastasio Sabugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jalisco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Sabugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jalisco FC's Berart Morata suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Jalisco FC booed when Anazco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernal Corujo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silbestre Marcos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Moldes having to interfere. When Anazco FC's Yoelvis Cribell in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Colon Yanez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jalisco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colon Yanez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilazki Lucero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yoelvis Cribell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Moldes having to interfere.

Anazco FC's Yoelvis Cribell got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Anazco FC's Silbestre Marcos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Rubio Moldes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silbestre Marcos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Riesgo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bibiano Vallejo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bibiano Vallejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jalisco FC's Omero Villadiego got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubio Moldes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silbestre Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Anazco FC booed when Jalisco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Sabugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Riesgo made a great header on Anazco FC's corner, it was just that Jalisco FC's Rubio Moldes managed to reach the ball for a save. The Anazco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anazco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
