The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Quinto Boldu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaitara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Las trenzas del calvo's Tabby Cofresi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luar Salterain in the 12th minute of play. Florian Cardillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tabby Cofresi. Las trenzas del calvo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tabby Cofresi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinto Boldu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Quinto Boldu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las trenzas del calvo's Tabby Cofresi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luar Salterain in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Las trenzas del calvo's Tabby Cofresi got control of the ball when Quinto Boldu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tabby Cofresi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Quinto Boldu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinto Boldu got free with Tabby Cofresi in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tabby Cofresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luar Salterain, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luar Salterain to make the kick off. Guaitara FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Las trenzas del calvo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdinand Guadiana took the corner. The corner ended in Ferdinand Guadiana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las trenzas del calvo's Tabby Cofresi did a great save. Melchor Huera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Txatxu Murga having to make a save. Zelipe Candia's late challenge caught a Guaitara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zelipe Candia helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Las trenzas del calvo got a freekick which was hit by Zelipe Candia. The audience was convinced that Quinto Boldu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tabby Cofresi was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Dolfos Penilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Guaitara FC got a freekick which was hit by Asteri Grolet. The supporters of Las trenzas del calvo booed when Guaitara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Guadiana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Huera might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Txatxu Murga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Huera ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zelipe Candia got free with Txatxu Murga in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute Dolfos Penilla suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Asteri Grolet fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaitara FC's protests and gave Asteri Grolet a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Guaitara FC got a freekick which was hit by Asteri Grolet. In the 96th minute, Zelipe Candia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guaitara FC had won after a very even match.
