Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joaquin Sañudo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pilas's Giraldo Camazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Sañudo in the 25th minute of play. Giraldo Camazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Sañudo in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niva Gochicoa got free with Giraldo Camazon in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richie Urroz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Joaquin Sañudo made a precise shot to the right of Giraldo Camazon. Pilas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 46th minute, Zaquiel Corisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Pilas's protests and gave Richie Urroz a yellow card for diving instead. Giraldo Camazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Gochicoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
