Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mendebal Loro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Tarra's zone, Gian-Carlo Gorbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Boladeras came out of the goal and Gian-Carlo Gorbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Vicemte Agado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tarra's Mariano Boladeras didn't even have to move. Mariano Boladeras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mendebal Loro in the 11th minute of the match. Inocencio Chavarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vimaro Landeribar in the 12th minute of play. Inocencio Chavarria made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Telmo Piñan sent off a good shot on target. Mendebal Loro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cresitobalo Cerecedo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarra's protests and gave Cresitobalo Cerecedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when Tarra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresitobalo Cerecedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Mendebal Loro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Boladeras was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vimaro Landeribar made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Telmo Piñan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Chavarria was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cedro Varsana might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Boladeras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cedro Varsana ran back to his position shaking his head. Gian-Carlo Gorbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mariano Boladeras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedro Varsana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Vimaro Landeribar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Chavarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
