Abelardo Herrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrol Chagavia in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FabianCol's goal looked a bit too open when Cresenciano Sande came free, but Abelardo Herrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novilleros's Munio Illescas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indalecio Iglesias in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Basajaun Balmori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Indalecio Iglesias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Munio Illescas, passed just outside the right post. Otsoko Rivadeneira might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Herrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otsoko Rivadeneira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Cordarrol Chagavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Herrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Herrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvanito Arismendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Novilleros's Munio Illescas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Novilleros from getting a goal against them. Munio Illescas was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Opilano Llanes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Opilano Llanes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Abelardo Herrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarrol Chagavia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Etxahun Carrizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Herrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Cordarrol Chagavia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abelardo Herrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordarrol Chagavia to strike the kick off in the second half. When Novilleros's Cordarrol Chagavia in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FabianCol's goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Herrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvanito Arismendi in the 53rd minute. Novilleros's Silvanito Arismendi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otsoko Rivadeneira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Abelardo Herrea made a huge save. Cordarrol Chagavia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abelardo Herrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FabianCol's Abelardo Herrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoko Rivadeneira in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FabianCol's Opilano Llanes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes of play, Novilleros's Otsoko Rivadeneira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Herrea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cordarrol Chagavia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to FabianCol getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Federigo Saes hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Silvanito Arismendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Herrea. FabianCol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvanito Arismendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Abelardo Herrea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvanito Arismendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. Tulio Moreruela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Munio Illescas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Novilleros's zone, Indalecio Iglesias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Munio Illescas came out of the goal and Indalecio Iglesias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Novilleros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
