Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Etxahun Carrizo in the 2nd minute of play forced Cativo FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Foronda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloisio Mar's late challenge caught a Novilleros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloisio Mar helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the game, one of Cativo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Feliciano Foronda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvanito Arismendi went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 14 minutes, Teofilo Payon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cativo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Payon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Teofilo Payon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cativo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Novilleros's Cordarrol Chagavia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Payon in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Munio Illescas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Teofilo Payon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th play minute Silvanito Arismendi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Feliciano Foronda. 2-1. In the 42nd match minute, Novilleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresenciano Sande to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvanito Arismendi got free with Feliciano Foronda in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cativo FC's zone, Silvanito Arismendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Foronda came out of the goal and Silvanito Arismendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordarrol Chagavia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Payon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Munio Illescas made a huge save. When %teams%'s Cleto Sicilia was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-2 just inside the left pole, 57 minutes into the game. Munio Illescas was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The supporters of Novilleros booed when Cativo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Adan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Silvanito Arismendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Novilleros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 83 played minutes Novilleros got a freekick which was hit by Eneas Valseca. Cativo FC's Cleto Sicilia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Novilleros getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eneas Valseca hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, Novilleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otsoko Rivadeneira to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Sicilia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cativo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
