Azeari Lizano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bruno Tamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azeari Lizano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taguana's Bruno Tamez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioritz Carbajal in the 31st minute of play. Azeari Lizano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Tamez having to interfere. Ioritz Carbajal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Tamez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perico Allo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Taguana's goalkeeper Bruno Tamez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azeari Lizano. Ioritz Carbajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azeari Lizano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Bruno Tamez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Tamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioritz Carbajal in the 62nd minute of the match. Bruno Tamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bittor Lucas in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Diaz Arancibia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeal Mocellar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Tamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioritz Carbajal in the 77th minute of play. Ioritz Carbajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabrio Luengo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Bittor Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrigones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taguana the free kick. 83 minutes into the game, Azeari Lizano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bruno Tamez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ioritz Carbajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Taguana's goalkeeper Bruno Tamez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azeari Lizano. Barrigones FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
