Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Calvino Rubio started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC America de Cali's goalkeeper Bastian Oliveros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bastian Oliveros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordarrell Salvia went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Calvino Rubio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meendez Marsol having to make a save. Bastian Oliveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errapel Cespedes in the 17th minute of the match. Errapel Cespedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarrell Salvia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bastian Oliveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Errapel Cespedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Oliveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, FC America de Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvino Rubio to maneuver through the defense. FC America de Cali's Bastian Oliveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrell Salvia in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Calvino Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC America de Cali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS GALACTICOS the free kick. In the 40th minute, Calvino Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45thth minute of the game Calvino Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS GALACTICOS's Meendez Marsol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bastian Oliveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrell Salvia in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half LOS GALACTICOS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Errapel Cespedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cordarrell Salvia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Oliveros having to interfere. Errapel Cespedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cordarrell Salvia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meendez Marsol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvino Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Valerio Buergo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cordarrell Salvia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC America de Cali's Calvino Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Calvino Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC America de Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvino Rubio couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordarrell Salvia got free with Bastian Oliveros in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calvino Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meendez Marsol having to interfere. Errapel Cespedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastian Oliveros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Errapel Cespedes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC America de Cali! In the 99th minute there was a penalty for LOS GALACTICOS. Guipuzkoa Anton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bastian Oliveros. 0-3.
