Xacintu Maide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harri Robla came out and tried to block the shot, but Xacintu Maide slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 31st match minute, tolima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zunbeltz Santiago to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Julian Nembro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Afonso Borjas could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Harri Robla however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Palotal booed when tolima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordero Barrenechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Estevez Larrechi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbasa Rocafort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mauro Ayerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Estevez Larrechi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Ayerdi was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. During the 61st minute of the match Julian Nembro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julian Nembro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 69 minutes into the match, Urbasa Rocafort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Ayerdi. Palotal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbasa Rocafort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 76 minutes into the game, Urbasa Rocafort lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Mauro Ayerdi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbasa Rocafort got free with Mauro Ayerdi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urbasa Rocafort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Ayerdi having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Urbasa Rocafort got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Ayerdi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Palotal's Ciro Ulloa got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Estevez Larrechi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Palotal's Mauro Ayerdi got control of the ball when Urbasa Rocafort tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zunbeltz Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zunbeltz Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute of the match Leon Gauna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harri Robla skillfully saved the ball.
