Iturri Cia kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Amancio Santillion's late challenge caught a Oscar.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Santillion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, FC America S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Santillion to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match, Roque Regueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucio Letran was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iturri Cia in the 11th minute of play forced Oscar.FC's goalkeeper Orlo Amestoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Oscar.FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Alesanco. Orlo Amestoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iturri Cia, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Arixo Confercin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC America S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oscar.FC the free kick. Arixo Confercin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With his leg Lucio Letran managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Oscar.FC's Roque Regueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Iturri Cia came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC America S.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iturri Cia couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Alesanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Regueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Lucio Letran made a huge save. Orlo Amestoy came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC America S.A's Iturri Cia. But to his dismay, Iturri Cia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iturri Cia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roque Regueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC America S.A's Lucio Letran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Regueira in the 56th minute of play. Lucio Letran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Vitor Somoza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oscar.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitor Somoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Oscar.FC's Roque Regueira in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC America S.A's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute Honesto Centenales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Letran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arixo Confercin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Orlo Amestoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arixo Confercin struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Orlo Amestoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC America S.A. Honesto Centenales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Honesto Centenales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Letran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Oscar.FC's Roque Regueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Letran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roque Regueira scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Letran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marcelo Alesanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Regueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Vitor Somoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC America S.A's Lucio Letran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Alesanco in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Roque Regueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oscar.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Regueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Letran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 97 minutes, Roque Regueira made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC America S.A's Lucio Letran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Oscar.FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
