Ignatius Guardia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11th minute, Quintin Masbernat made a precise shot to the right of Ignatius Guardia. Unión Magdalena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ignatius Guardia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Viles, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Baltasar Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Guardia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Unión Magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Montesino to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Presilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignatius Guardia. Unión Magdalena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignatius Guardia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Viles, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ignatius Guardia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Librado Soltero in the 32nd minute of play. Constantino Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Unión Magdalena's Ignatius Guardia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintin Masbernat in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Bogotá FC's Leandro Viles made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Guardia was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quintin Masbernat to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Unión Magdalena's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Masbernat came free, but Ignatius Guardia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes, Florentino Reynoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unión Magdalena and the Bogotá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Florentino Reynoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Leandro Viles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignatius Guardia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Viles in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Unión Magdalena's Cruz Lasa got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ignatius Guardia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oscar Presilla. Librado Soltero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ignatius Guardia made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Tome Tiedra made a precise shot to the right of Orlo Portera. Bogotá FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After having played for 77 minutes, Leandro Viles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogotá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Viles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Quintin Masbernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlo Portera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Renta in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Unión Magdalena's goalkeeper Ignatius Guardia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Viles. 86 minutes into the game, Quintin Masbernat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignatius Guardia. Quintin Masbernat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Tome Tiedra scored 2-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlo Portera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignatius Guardia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Librado Soltero in the 95th minute. Leandro Viles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatius Guardia having to interfere. Bogotá FC played a much better game than Unión Magdalena and deserved their victory. The Unión Magdalena players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
