Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Quexal Aquejano made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in FC America S.A's zone, Hermelando Alastuey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Letran came out of the goal and Hermelando Alastuey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uxio Caño made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Arixo Confercin sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Antioquia FC's Uxio Caño got control of the ball when Arixo Confercin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iturri Cia struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Uxio Caño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC America S.A. Ivon Ribeira hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, FC America S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arixo Confercin to maneuver through the defense. Antioquia FC's Quexal Aquejano got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Hermelando Alastuey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antioquia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermelando Alastuey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Antioquia FC! The goalkeeper, Uxio Caño, was totally fooled by FC America S.A's Quico Tijero, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hermelando Alastuey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Hermelando Alastuey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antioquia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermelando Alastuey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quico Tijero kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Uxio Caño came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by FC America S.A's Arixo Confercin. But to his dismay, Arixo Confercin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Iturri Cia made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Hermelando Alastuey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antioquia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hermelando Alastuey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Lucio Letran made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Hermelando Alastuey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arixo Confercin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Uxio Caño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Antioquia FC's goalkeeper Uxio Caño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Eliu Mascire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antioquia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC America S.A the free kick. Iturri Cia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Arixo Confercin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC America S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Arixo Confercin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uxio Caño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermelando Alastuey kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Antioquia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iturri Cia came free, but Uxio Caño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amancio Santillion came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC America S.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Santillion couldn't finish the play. FC America S.A's Arixo Confercin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iturri Cia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arixo Confercin in the 98th minute of play forced Antioquia FC's goalkeeper Uxio Caño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iturri Cia in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uxio Caño saved Antioquia FC from getting behind. Lucio Letran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermelando Alastuey in the 100th minute. FC America S.A's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
