The audience was convinced that Alvaro Gredilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Letran was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Sindo Zarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Camarero in the 29th minute of play forced FC America S.A's goalkeeper Lucio Letran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Gredilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lucio Letran made a huge save. Caetano Camarero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lucio Letran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, FC America S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Camarero came free, but Lucio Letran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Camarero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Letran came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Majaval FC's Alvaro Gredilla. But to his dismay, Alvaro Gredilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caetano Camarero to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Caetano Camarero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC America S.A's Lucio Letran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alvaro Gredilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Majaval FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Gredilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Letran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iturri Cia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nevada Robira having to interfere. Caetano Camarero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lucio Letran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Letran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ovies in the 70th minute of play. Lucio Letran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Camarero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, FC America S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Sedeño to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Camarero struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lucio Letran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majaval FC. Lucio Letran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Camarero in the 95th minute of the match. Majaval FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
