In the 35th minute, Jabier Mediavilla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcelino Pedrosa, passed just outside the right post. Xofre Toro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Pedrosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Monster FC's Aureo Claveria was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gumaro Graciosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gumaro Graciosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Pedrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureo Claveria in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Pedrosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matei Acenero during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matei Acenero hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Gumaro Graciosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Pedrosa having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Aureo Claveria came free, but Marcelino Pedrosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bucaramanga's zone, Danilo Povia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Pedrosa came out of the goal and Danilo Povia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Aureo Claveria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bucaramanga's Marcelino Pedrosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jabier Mediavilla came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Monster FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jabier Mediavilla couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Pedrosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureo Claveria's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Marcelino Pedrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabier Mediavilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moncho Gañona to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Pedrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jabier Mediavilla in the 74th minute of play. Marcelino Pedrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gumaro Graciosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Bucaramanga's Claude Miguelez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Claude Miguelez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moncho Gañona during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 80 minutes into the match, Monster FC's Gumaro Graciosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Aureo Claveria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelino Pedrosa. Bucaramanga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureo Claveria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Monster FC booed when Bucaramanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Acenero didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Monster FC were the better team. Monster FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
