Rigoberto Saldivar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 28 played minutes Maquina del Mal got a freekick which was hit by Obano Angosto. Vito Saldaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Albiz having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Maquina del Mal's goal looked a bit too open when Yader Castroviejo came free, but Belmiro Albiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gauargi Aniego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Platon Cordoba's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chabier Sanez made a kick off. Chabier Sanez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gauargi Aniego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Gauargi Aniego managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Maquina del Mal's Platon Cordoba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alibizu FC's Yader Castroviejo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Platon Cordoba ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Maquina del Mal's Platon Cordoba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gauargi Aniego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vito Saldaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Belmiro Albiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Maquina del Mal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maquina del Mal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
