An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Sesse in the 5th minute of play forced Minayaco's goalkeeper Mauro Espelz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi Ruidiaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Baristo Caceo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baristo Caceo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Ruidiaz in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Minayaco defense, Urti Ubidea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Espelz. The Minayaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Espelz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xosepe Fonseca in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baristo Caceo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arias Landaluce hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Julian Pelegrina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baristo Caceo. Florian's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jordi Ruidiaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baristo Caceo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Ruidiaz in the 37th minute of play. Baristo Caceo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian's Baristo Caceo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosepe Fonseca in the 43rd minute of play. Minayaco's Jordi Ruidiaz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Sesse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Urti Ubidea fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florian's protests and gave Urti Ubidea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Florian getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Urti Ubidea hit a great ball. Jordi Ruidiaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baristo Caceo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordi Ruidiaz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jordi Ruidiaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Xosepe Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minayaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xosepe Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakes Madaria hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Julian Pelegrina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baristo Caceo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arias Landaluce hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Fonseca in the 68th minute of play forced Florian's goalkeeper Baristo Caceo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xosepe Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Espelz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Sesse in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Minayaco's Xosepe Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baristo Caceo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baristo Caceo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Minayaco getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Edur Angeles hit a great ball. If Jordi Ruidiaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute.
