Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fermin Cachorro kicked off to start the match. Gilesindo Endaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lamatilde's Gilesindo Endaya in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marconia's goalie prevented a goal. Gilesindo Endaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Alfredo Villerias kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ximun Malburgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Cachorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 19th minute, Lamatilde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Petri Moroño fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Victorino Vinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eliseo Maja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximun Malburgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Cachorro in the 25th minute of play. Gilesindo Endaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Victorino Vinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Maja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ximun Malburgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Cachorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ximun Malburgo managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Marconia's Vermudo Calvillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Marconia's Vermudo Calvillo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Gilesindo Endaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Maja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Vinas was the one to do the kick off. Petri Moroño scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ximun Malburgo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marconia's Fermin Cachorro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petri Moroño in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximun Malburgo saved Lamatilde from getting behind. Eliseo Maja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Vinas in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Lamatilde's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Cachorro came free, but Ximun Malburgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ximun Malburgo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petri Moroño's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Gilesindo Endaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Lamatilde got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Limia. Goiz Omaña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Fermin Cachorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ximun Malburgo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 minutes, Ferman Limia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamatilde and the Marconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Lamatilde got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Limia. Ximun Malburgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Cachorro in the 80th minute of the match. If Fermin Cachorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petri Moroño struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ximun Malburgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marconia. Fermin Cachorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximun Malburgo having to interfere.
