Tano Minayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lano Estebanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Maximo Egas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romildo Barrasa having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Omero Leira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romildo Barrasa. Tarfan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omero Leira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mitxaut Salvia sped through Verdolaga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tano Minayo. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Romildo Barrasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Severino Gostioz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Egas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romildo Barrasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Egas ran back to his position shaking his head. Lano Estebanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tano Minayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Tarfan FC's Mitxaut Salvia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tano Minayo. Tano Minayo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Tarfan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
