A collision led to Black Chelsea getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eloy Candolias hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Perico Tagle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Javier Tumiraos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tano Minayo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ciro Traves sent off a good shot on target. Cresitobalo Borja hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ranolfo Sobero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tano Minayo having to interfere. Tuste Varo. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Ciro Traves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ciro Traves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Baraquiel Tello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verdolaga and the Black Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Baraquiel Tello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes in the game, Yoel Castañera fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tano Minayo having to interfere. In the 36th minute Omero Leira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Tumiraos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose-Antonio Albornoz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Javier Tumiraos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Egas in the 41st minute of the match. Tano Minayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoel Castañera in the 44th minute of play. Tuste Varo. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tano Minayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Verdolaga's zone, Yoel Castañera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tano Minayo came out of the goal and Yoel Castañera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tano Minayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoel Castañera's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tuste Varo. struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tano Minayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Chelsea. The Black Chelsea fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Black Chelsea's Yoel Castañera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 90th minute, when Verdolaga's Ramos Martel after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Javier Tumiraos in Black Chelsea's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After 92 played minutes Black Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Ranolfo Sobero. After 95 minutes, Bernat Antoniano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Chelsea and the Verdolaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Verdolaga booed when Black Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernat Antoniano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Chelsea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
