Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudio Illera took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Claudio Illera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but atl.nacional's Dacio Canel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bonifaco Lazaro struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dacio Canel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salineros. If Bonifaco Lazaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bonifaco Lazaro came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Salineros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifaco Lazaro couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Claudio Illera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacio Canel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifaco Lazaro took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacio Canel. Dacio Canel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bonifaco Lazaro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dacio Canel came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Salineros's Claudio Illera. But to his dismay, Claudio Illera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dacio Canel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifaco Lazaro in the 34th minute of the match. When Claudio Illera came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Salineros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Illera couldn't finish the play. atl.nacional's Dacio Canel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Illera in the 40th minute of play. Claudio Illera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tipi Morua to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Salineros's Raimundo Guijano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Salineros's Raimundo Guijano got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Raimundo Guijano off the ground. In the 56th minute, Raimundo Guijano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Salineros's goal looked a bit too open when Tipi Morua came free, but Iratzeder Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Salineros got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Lape. 64 minutes into the match, atl.nacional's Xicu Lobato broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 67 minutes, Xicu Lobato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the atl.nacional and the Salineros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 75 minutes, Bonifaco Lazaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salineros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifaco Lazaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Claudio Illera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salineros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave atl.nacional the free kick. Bonifaco Lazaro's late challenge caught a atl.nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifaco Lazaro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Salineros getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bonifaco Lazaro hit a great ball. After 84 minutes, Bonifaco Lazaro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. atl.nacional's Dacio Canel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. atl.nacional's Tipi Morua got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifaco Lazaro got free with Dacio Canel in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in atl.nacional's zone, Camerino Migolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacio Canel came out of the goal and Camerino Migolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salineros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
