Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Berrio's Zuriko Araso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Etor Yepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ler Zumarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ximen Sorribes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuriko Araso in the 6th minute of play forced Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ximen Sorribes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Perez Zarzuelo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caradaro Guau during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Berrio booed when Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caradaro Guau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chaime Elguea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Palben Florez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cresconio Arriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palben Florez having to interfere. Matias Camero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Camero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Berrio got a freekick which was hit by Matias Camero. Ler Zumarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximen Sorribes having to interfere. Matias Camero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chaime Elguea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Palben Florez saved Berrio from getting behind. Ler Zumarraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Cali's Ximen Sorribes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Cali from getting a goal against them. Ximen Sorribes was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Cuartio Llanez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cuartio Llanez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cresconio Arriaga made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cuartio Llanez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 52 minutes, Cresconio Arriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Cali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cresconio Arriaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Chaime Elguea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th play minute Chaime Elguea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Palben Florez. 1-1. Cresconio Arriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaime Elguea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palben Florez having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Berrio got a freekick which was hit by Cuartio Llanez. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Berrio. Domenec Aranzazu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ximen Sorribes. 3-1. Palben Florez made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Chaime Elguea sent off a good shot on target. After 98 minutes of play, Berrio's Ler Zumarraga made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ximen Sorribes was left in no man's land by his defense there!
