In the 33rd minute Yago Almazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palben Florez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yago Almazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Palben Florez made a huge save. Braulio Luengo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donzel Llera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuriko Araso in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Nesto Ogazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballet azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nesto Ogazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Yago Almazan made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Berrio's Donzel Llera threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zuriko Araso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Berrio's Palben Florez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Luengo in the 96th minute of play. Ballet azul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
