Cotove's Lauaxeta Parra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvius Remolino in the 5th minute of play. Zayvius Remolino scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauaxeta Parra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MARIANA FC's Zayvius Remolino got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Silverio Porras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Higuera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Orlin Baldaliso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Higuera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Porras in the 18th minute of the match. Cotove's Silverio Porras got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zayvius Remolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lauaxeta Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabby Manteca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauaxeta Parra having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Porras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Zayvius Remolino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lauaxeta Parra. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montes Guete during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Cotove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauaxeta Parra should have stopped the shot. Tabby Manteca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, MARIANA FC's Berdaitz Xavalera got a free kick in the 95th minute. MARIANA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
