Sagrario Husarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serapio Uria having to interfere. When Pello Mediavilla came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Cuchara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pello Mediavilla couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Ariel Roca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sagrario Husarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Sagrario Husarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serapio Uria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Sagrario Husarte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Serapio Uria didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Baldomiro Aujea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Serapio Uria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Serapio Uria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Aujea in the 32nd minute. Baldomiro Aujeas short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Serapio Uria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serapio Uria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sagrario Husarte went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Serapio Uria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sagrario Husarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cuchara's zone, Baldomiro Aujea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serapio Uria came out of the goal and Baldomiro Aujea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sagrario Husarte made a kick off. Serapio Uria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sagrario Husarte in the 52nd minute of play. Rangers's Baldomiro Aujea got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serapio Uria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sagrario Husarte went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sagrario Husarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Roca in the 65th minute of play forced Cuchara's goalkeeper Serapio Uria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernanco Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Urtungo Paiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Aujea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Serapio Uria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Cordairo Pala sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cuchara's Serapio Uria didn't even have to move. 95 minutes into the game, Colon Borica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuchara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers the free kick. The supporters of Rangers booed when Cuchara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colon Borica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rangers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
