The shot was a little too simple and Urtungo Paiz could save by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Rangers's goalkeeper Urtungo Paiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quirce Bances. When Baldomiro Aujea came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Aujea couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sagrario Husarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Pedro Hordas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Hordas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urtungo Paiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Urtungo Paiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirce Bances, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Quirce Bances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quirce Bances struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Urtungo Paiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VARGAS FC. In the 96thth minute of the game Pedro Hordas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rangers's Urtungo Paiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, VARGAS FC's Antonio Bultron got a free kick in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VARGAS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rangers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
