After recieving a nice pass, Colombia FC's Tiago Manjaleguas tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia FC booed when Tapitas Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Zarate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Vidrio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, Tiago Manjaleguas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia FC and the Tapitas Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia FC! Colombia FC's Radamel Falcao got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beti Capitillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celio Ezquierdo having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia FC's goalkeeper Ferdi Frommermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urritz Saludes. Ferdi Frommermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seme Letran, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia FC's goalkeeper Ferdi Frommermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Urritz Saludes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Tapitas Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urritz Saludes couldn't finish the play. When Domingo Vidrio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia FC's protests and gave Domingo Vidrio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Colombia FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Domingo Vidrio hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Colombia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Seme Letran came free, but Ferdi Frommermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urritz Saludes took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdi Frommermann. Ferdi Frommermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seme Letran to make the kick off. Vitin Tuesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tapitas Fútbol Club's Bihar Foyo got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Radamel Falcao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdi Frommermann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdi Frommermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Vitin Tuesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beti Capitillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Celio Ezquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Urritz Saludes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapitas Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urritz Saludes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Tapitas Fútbol Club were the better team. Tapitas Fútbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
